The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration just released the results from this year’s Volunteer campaign and they are impressive. A record 28,000 students participated and volunteered in a wide variety of activities in their communities. Thanks to the dedicated work of the Youth Coordinator, Cody Palmer-Almond, the entire three week campaign was successful. The number of student participants and hours volunteered exceeded expectations and the number of events recorded also set a new record. Be sure to check out the Facebook page for photos of the events – from fundraising walks to wake-a-thons to community activities – all of the Niagara Region benefitted from this year’s Change the World campaign!
