DROP IN CENTRES
Offers drop-in and play activities, lending library, education groups, and resource centres for parents, caregivers and their children.

Programs for youth including peer support, counselling and social activities.

CITY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENTS
Many municipal Community Recreation Departments offer summer day camp options as well as summer activities, programs and public swimming/skating opportunities at a small fee. LIBRARIES - YMCA - YWCA - CADETS - BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
Many of the public libraries, local YMCA’s, and the Boys and Girls Clubs may offer summer camps/programs as well as March Break and Christmas vacation activities. Sea, Air and Army Cadets offer programs for youth throughout the Niagara Region. There may be fee assistance available by contacting the specific organization. Contact Information Niagara at

Economical or no charge outings are available and include: cycling, hiking trails, Historical Carousel in Port Dalhousie, petting zoos, the Welland Canal Centre, museums, travelling playgrounds, and the Botanical School of Horticulture.
SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS
There are various team sports organizations including: hockey, soccer, baseball, ball hockey, softball, and lacrosse available to adults and children in the Niagara Region.
