On October 16th, we held a community event to celebrate 40 years of service for our organization. With over 100 people in attendance, we reviewed some of the highlights of the last 40 years, demonstrated the use of our services through storytelling and we also unveiled our new brand and name – INCommunities.
The IN is a “nod” to our history of Information Niagara and the Communities refers to the fact that we are now serving multiple geographic communities as well as many diverse communities of people – non-English speakers, survivors of sexual violence, Seniors, students, professionals serving their clients as well as acting as a point of entry for other programs through our 211 service. Thank you to all who have supported us, both last night and over the last 4 decades. We look forward to supporting you in the coming ones.

As a result of a need identified by Niagara Regional staff, INCommunities launched an on-line service: Donation of Goods Portal!
This Portal provides agencies with an on-line spot to post their needs – anything from household goods to clothing to food. Individuals, businesses or groups wanting to donate items, can search the Donation Portal to view donation opportunities.
